Mid-Century Jewel

This Beaverton property was such fun to stage!  It had some very cool Mid-Century Modern architectural features, but the sellers hadn’t maximized that potential so we were charged with that responsibility – which we took on gladly.  First we advised the walls be painted a gray/green color that showcased the fab wood paneling.   We also had them replace the boring builder dining room light fixture with a more appropriate flower pendant. Then we brought in mid-century style furnishings such as Barcelona chairs, a leather Corbusier chaise lounge, Saarinen tulip table and more.  Once the sellers got the pricing right, they had several buyers fighting over it!!
  1. BEFORE: Living RoomHouse was pretty plain and the white walls weren\'t complementing the wood paneling.
  2. AFTER: Living RoomSuch a young, cool space now!
  3. AFTER: Living RoomA longer view of the living room with updated furniture and accessories and warmer colors.
  4. AFTER:Far corner of living room with ceiling details showing. The cool gray/green paint shows off the wonderful wood throughout.
  5. AFTER: Dining RoomWe had the builder type light fixture changed out to a more Mid-Century evoking tulip pendant and brought in a sunburst clock and Saarinen tulip table to underscore the mid-century style of the property.
  6. BEFORE: Family Room cornerSpace had previously been a porch that was enclosed. Needed some pizzazz.
  7. AFTER: Family RoomThat\'s more in keeping with the style of the property and buyer preferences...
